Abifor.com - Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)

TPU hot-melt products are mostly linear polyurethanes based on polyether or polyester.
The melting ranges of the abifor^® TPU’s are in the range of 100 – 180°C with quite high viscosity values. The bond fail temperatures are clearly below the melting ranges.

In general the adhesion properties of the TPU-powders are excellent and show good bonding to various substrates and surfaces.
Mostly these powders are used for technical applications applied by scatter coating.

The abifor^® TPU-powders can be classified following the application areas:

	abifor AC-2030	>> Technical laminations
	abifor AC-2038	>> Technical bonding’s, Conveyer belts
